At Birdies with Purpose, we believe golf is more than a game. It is a tool to shape character, open doors, and change lives.
What started as a way to bring corporate sponsorships into charity golf tournaments has grown into a full-blown mission: to use the game of golf as a platform for empowering kids, uplifting communities, and creating lasting impact.

Our Heart
Birdies with Purpose was born from a deeply personal place. Our founder, Chris Sessions, is a nonprofit strategist and proud father to a daughter with special needs.
Over the years, his family has been supported by organizations that provided hope, resources, and a path forward during some of life’s hardest moments. That journey sparked a desire to give back, to help nonprofits grow, thrive, and reach more families like his own.

But it didn’t stop there.

During a walk with his wife, a new vision was cast: what if we created something just for the kids? A free, meaningful day where golf was just the starting point for something bigger?
​Enter: "Birdie Day"
Birdie Day is our flagship youth golf experience—a completely free, one-day camp for kids ages 7–18 that combines professional instruction with life-changing enrichment.

Campers rotate through fun and educational breakout sessions focused on:

Chris Sessions
Hi, I'm Chris Sessions—founder of Birdies with Purpose and a dad on a mission. This work is deeply personal to me. My daughter, Ava, was born with special needs, and over the years, nonprofits have stepped in to give our family support, resources, and a sense of community we’ll never forget. Their impact inspired me to give back.
With Birdies with Purpose, I’ve combined my background in event strategy and nonprofit fundraising to help mission-driven organizations thrive. We turn golf tournaments and other events into powerful fundraising opportunities—so nonprofits can focus on what matters most: serving their communities and supporting families like mine.
Every event we plan, every dollar we raise, is driven by purpose. Because I’ve seen firsthand how life-changing the right support can be—and I’m committed to helping others experience that same kind of transformation.
